🕯️ Blind Faith w/ an Agnostic Deist

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:17)

John’s prologue hits hard for those who walk the line between belief and doubt. And that line—between Law and Grace—is where I stand.

Some see "The Word" as just the Bible.

But the Greek Logos is far more expansive: reason, order, divine speech.

It’s not heresy to imagine that truth, grace, and divine insight might still be whispered today—sometimes even through strange vessels.

Some Bibles mark the words of Jesus in red ink.

The “red letters of God” stand out among the “black letters of man.”

That’s where I try to live—somewhere in the margin, between the ink and the breath.

Between belief and metaphor. Between word and flesh.

Side note: I told my folks I’d consider church again if we went Episcopalian, not Southern Baptist.

I need ritual, not fire and brimstone. I need room for mystery—not certainty disguised as gospel.

Grace upon grace.
