@OldFartPhil @davidho.bsky.social These late night people (I'm talking about the US ones, not the NL one) make very similar jokes about Trump as they would about Biden, It's all the same - I was a big fan of these late night shows, but the fun is gone, they need to take a stronger stand and not do as if this president is just a little funnier than the other ones, this one is a Fing fascist, just making little jokes about him is not enough, and is actually helping him seem "normal"

Maybe you're right and that's too subtle for anyone who isn't dialed into politics. Even if the only thing the normies take away is that comedians make fun of all politicians, it still seems to make the Nazis big mad, so there's that.
