@randahl Don't get me wrong, but I really doubt a boycott is practically working today.
Generically speaking, first of all, is difficult if not impossible to identify if a product belongs to an organization you want to boycott.
In the end boycotting disney (for example) means to identify so many products and services, that leave you in the end without alternatives and products and services.
So if you really want to boycott in the end, who lose is who boycott because remains without alternatives.
Big companies are like a medusa, tentacles everywhere, you cut one and 1000 are already out there elsewhere, the company is not really damaged in any way.
Even worse for companies that carry important services, like water/food/telecommunications/etc.
Even disney I'm sure has the hand in places and services that one can not avoid to use.
The only thing one achieve is a moral satisfaction, but is quite useless to really push a company like that to change policy/idea. Money is what all they care of.
