The Incredible Laser@Lana the funniest and dumbest thing is that flag burning is the recommended way of disposing of a flag according to the flag code (which isn't binding for civilians, but anyhow, it regulates proper flag handling). So burning can be perfectly fine if done respectfully. What's not fine is printing the flag on towels, underwear etc and I'm not sure about stickers and stuff. But somehow nobody is agitated about that
