@nazhamid and yeah obviously going north would be great. I might still go that way and fly down. In a perfect world I like over landing everywhere. It's very fun that way.

@nickolasclarke This, I am not up on. I think the good spots in the old school vein wouldn’t be pork-free so my family doesn’t tend to go to dim sum much. Haven’t been to a proper spot in KL since I was a teen there. Google or a search would probably work out.

@nickolasclarke @nazhamid Yat Pan for dimsum. But it’s in kepong. Might be worth it for a morning out in the burbs. Downtown has more halal / fancy options. I really like Jalan Pudu for food.

One of my fave restaurants anywhere is Lau Heong in Sentul.

And all the burger Ramly.

KL also has great Yemeni and Syrian food now. For obvious reasons (war). I can look up options I liked if that’s interesting.
