How to fight fascism in one minute today:

Here is what you can do to stop Trump’s attack on US Late Night Host.

Jimmy Kimmel has been suspended. His show is owned by ABC, and ABC is owned by Disney, which is a global enterprise.

So if you have a Disney streaming subscription, just cancel it and watch something else. It is that simple.

Just say no to tyranny.

@randahl there’s also this option: https://mas.to/@kims/115228300444395252

But I think it’s important to make the message to ABC/Disney about complying with an unconstitutional threat from the FCC. Canceling the show and/or firing the host is much less offensive than allowing the gov’t to dictate content in a way that violates the first amendment. They’re protecting their station’s licenses by changing the content rather than by demanding their rights be respected; we should call on them to make that demand

Here's an effective way to boycott that allows a company to change their behavior and keep your goodwill: Watch your ABC local news affiliate tonight. Take note of the advertisers These ads were paid for months ago so the advertisers have not yet done anything wrong. Unlike Disney/ABC, they are still in the neutral column But they have an opportunity to not renew those ad buys. Write to them and tell them you will not buy their products if they continue to advertise on ABC @[email protected] @[email protected]
