Laurent@VictoriaFerryRetroGeek Grendizer/Goldorak is not just known in France. Quebec and Arabic speaking countries also enjoyed the show in the 70s-80s. The arcade game however I have never seen in France but maybe @[email protected] has seen it in Spain? I have seen it appear in eBay Japan as well obviously.
@laurentgiroud , OK the wiki page of "banpresto" says it is 100% japanese. The thing is, I absolutely never heard/seen product of banpresto in France, when in spain recent comic books and festivals are covered of ads for banpresto, usually to sell figures and otaku goodies.
@VictoriaFerryRetroGeek I also think Spain did broadcast the Mazinger episodes (France did not) and Bandai was making toy figures so it would make sense for Banpresto to have a presence in Spain.
