I just wanted to share my experience from this morning.
When you are riding a bike, you wear a helmet.
No discussion.

(I'm fine, just a few minor injuries. I'm happy to be alive because I hit the deck really hard with my head.)

@ricobeck I'll never understand the people I see who are riding a bike without a helmet. I've hit my head a bunch of times often without any warning while mountain biking. Always grateful for my helmets.

My Dad used to say “$10 head, $10 helmet”

I once flipped an ATC backwards and it rolled over me and took a gash out of the helmet as it went over me.

@tapforms @ricobeck If you're curious to understand, I mostly don't because 100s of falls and 1 head hit.
I won't try any serious mountain biking without a full armor though.
