Tom ForsythWell fuck. I am now old enough to graduate from needing one set of glasses to needing two different sets of glasses. I will fucking punch Father Time in the goddamn face once I figure out which pair is most appropriate for the attack range. Or maybe I need a quickswap slot.
First pair was for phones or books or cooking instructions. But desktop monitors were fine for about 5 years. But now... yeah, I need a new pair specifically for that. Fortunately naked distance vision for racing is still fine. So far.
The Seven Voyages Of Steve@TomF I feel this. I used to be fine with one pair of glasses for distance, now I need reading glasses as well. I'm bordering on needing monitor-distance glasses but am resisting, it's the one range that my eyes still mostly work at. I tried varifocals in the interests of cutting down the combinations but I absolutely hated them, mainly because the useful aperture you get for a given distance is pitiful. Getting older sucks
