It wouldn't bother me so much if they hadn't changed it to *the exact opposite of what it meant before*, and if I didn't like traditional roguelikes so much.
A traditional roguelike does not have progression! At all! You get better at the game by you, the player, learning the complex systems and getting more experienced, not by mashing your face against it until your unlocks go up high enough that you beat it anyway!...
