Lee Hodgsonwe bought a Morphy Richards Miko toasted sandwich maker for the microwave from Amazon and we tried it out today! I have to say it’s a fantastic way of making toasted sandwiches without all the mess and danger. (1/2)
The outer coating is silicon and the plates fit into the silicon under some lips and you can dismantle it to wash it in the dishwasher or in the sink the plates get hot but as long as you’re careful the toasted sandwiches that come out of it are fantastic and it’s not that expensive either as a blind person I highly recommend it (2/2)

@shefoof I would imagine so! If you do a search for silicon microwavable sandwich toaster, you’ll probably find them. It might be a different manufacturer, but I’d imagine they do.
