A little bit of sad news personally from me, my guide dog Millie, due to stress issues which are causing health problems is having to be retired at seven. so she’s having to be home quite quickly to get her away from the stress! It looks like she’ll be going back to her first ever mum the family who have her. actual mum want her back so I’m trying to organise all that but it’s a very sad time and it made me going back on the way to this for a new dog but I’ve got to do what’s right for her!
we’ve just watched this fantastic four part drama/documentary about Titanic sinking! taken from diaries and written memoirs of survivors and what they experienced it was so beautifully done and really opened your eyes to the absolute horror of what actually happened. it’s called Titanic sinks tonight and it is just the best thing I’ve seen about the disaster I have to say. it’s audio described two, which adds to it! Can’t recommend it enough.
feel totally spoiled this Christmas! Jess bought me some lovely thing some lovely aftershaves, Liverpool gifts, a real mixture so so blessed and so so happy having a glass of Bucks fizz while Jess cooks breakfast
very sad to hear that the singer chris rea has died at the age of 74 today! Driving home for Christmas is one of his absolute classics! Road to hell another one what a talented guy he was RIP
we found a fantastic thing this Christmas, I’ve offered wanted a way of cooling drinks without watering them down so which sadly ice does! we found these metal cubes which you phrase for 3 to 4 hours and put in your drink they keep your drink cool and don’t water it down in anyway you just wash the cube afterwards dry it put it back in the freezer. they’re fabulous a really good invention and very, very useful. Highly recommend them.

I wonder if anyone has a solution to this? you don’t seem to be able to access attachment in mail in iOS if you have created a mail thread by answering. The attachment is surrounded by less and greater signs and you cannot open it and it doesn’t see it as an attachment, does anyone have a solution to this as to how you can get the attachment to open? any help is appreciated. It’s driving me mad.
The outer coating is silicon and the plates fit into the silicon under some lips and you can dismantle it to wash it in the dishwasher or in the sink the plates get hot but as long as you’re careful the toasted sandwiches that come out of it are fantastic and it’s not that expensive either as a blind person I highly recommend it (2/2)
we bought a Morphy Richards Miko toasted sandwich maker for the microwave from Amazon and we tried it out today! I have to say it’s a fantastic way of making toasted sandwiches without all the mess and danger. (1/2)
just wanted to let people know that the InTouch program tonight at 8:45 on radio four available on BBC sounds two, it’s all about the cited guiding service for visit impaired people that’s being provided at the hotels in Devon and Windemere in the UK and it features myself and Julian Griffin who provide in the two services so just a heads up if anyone must be interested in listening and possibly using the service in the future
