Emulator: FS-UAE 3.2.35 for Windows, Linux and macOS

More than three years after the last version, developer Frode Solheim has released an update to the Amiga emulator FS-UAE for Windows, Linux and Mac OS, as announced. The new version 3.2.35 contains minor changes in preparation for further releases:

@Amiga_News This isn't listing the *BEST* change: they're changing the default behavior away from making adf backups and allowing you to write to the original ADF images. OMFG I cannot tell you enough how annoying that "feature" was especially since it was obfuscated by design.

@GabeMoralesVR

Thanks!
But the changelog in our news article lists the official changelog. So, I wonder why he has not mentioned this...?

@Amiga_News He announced it last month: https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-uae/issues/186#issuecomment-3184577099

However, my understanding, from having to figure out what was going on several years ago, is that the original change was never published to begin with. It was a sort of silent revision that not even the user documentation on FS-UAE mentioned. That's what I meant when I said it was obfuscated by design, you had to dig down into git issues to even find out this was a thing.

If you use UAE to interface w/real amiga, this was a pain.

By default writing to an adf file doesnt write · Issue #186 · FrodeSolheim/fs-uae

When i create a new adf disk file and launch it.. if i write to that disk at all it doesnt write to the adf file but instead writes to some obfuscated Documents/FS-UAE/Save States/default/mydisk.sd...

Thanks for pointing out.
If I correctly understand it, this applies to (alpha) version 5, right?
So, nothing has changed for the latest version 3?!

@Amiga_News I'm honestly not sure, that was the first update to the thread in a long time so I'd have just assumed it was the latest version.
