So, in a group I'm in, someone shared a campaign call calling on #Google to stop supporting the #Israel government and end its complicity in war crimes in #Gaza
The platform they're using to share these messages? #GoogleGroups of course. The email account the initial person sent the notice from? #Gmail of course.
Should I call them out and say - shouldn't we stop using a genocide-supporting #platforms?
@ncoca seems like a "call-in" rather than call out type thingie? I don't know. It's just a wording thing. Something like "I'm wondering if we should put some of our energy into getting our activism onto other platforms like --- or ----. That seems like a small good thing we can do to strike a blow..."
"Wondering" about it maybe sounds less judgy?
Yeah probably best not to sound judgy in you're reply (their probably not even aware that alternatives to Google exist) but yeah maybe you can nudge them with a supportive tone
