Zac WhiteAnother #HamRadio question: as a new ham, should I join the ARRL? I’ve read some negative Reddit posts recently, but from what I can tell, the ARRL seems to do quite a bit to promote the hobby. Is the membership worth it?
tipofthesowrd@zpw I think every ham should support the national organization which has representation within the IARU. Our organizations are the one advocating and protecting our use of the spectrum. Just look at the AST debacle trying to use amateur 70cm band for commercial satellite activity
