I dont know what to say.
Hyundai is building a 15 billion dollar battery plant in Georgia.

ICE just raided the plants and arrested over 400 people, including executives from LG, who not only make more than half of the TV screens in the US, but automotive batteries.

This is an ongoing racist crisis, and news reports will be covering this for weeks, but at least 30 Koreans were seized.

Hyundai sent lawyers, Korea, Diplomats.

Just.... HOW?
If the statement I've seen from ATF is true, the plant was employing hundreds of undocumented workers, which would suggest that somehow in the course of this multibillion dollar project, nobody remembered this one specific regulatory requirement.
If it's not true, that's a lot of law enforcement agencies who clearly have no idea WTF they are doing, apparently directed by people who are also incompetent, evil, or both.
I know bars are lowered to historic depths, but...

@kevinrns So ICE raid is generally just going to be bad, but nowhere in the linked article does it mention anything about the constituency being executives and legal workers. In fact, it says the company was distancing itself from those arrested.
