There will always be #drugs as the federal government in the #usa is so slow to react to new problems.

When they update the #laws of a substance, another one creeps in until it is such a problem it has to be solved.

Drug addicts have known you could abuse those for ages yet it's only now making headlines. Another will show up after those are scheduled.

It's evidence you can't solve it with brute force. It's a wider problem with #society.

I've been thinking about this for a bit, and you're right. By the time an institution recognizes a problem enough to address it, there's already a new workaround on the streets.

One of the things I found interesting in my recovery center internship is that the specifics of a particular substance was more relevant to the medical treatment than the general recovery process.

Addictive behavior follows pretty much the same pattern. It's the physical effects that vary.
