Well, I say stupidity. Maybe it's just corruption. Perhaps her sponsors have interests in oil companies and she thinks that whatever bung they're offering her makes letting the planet burn a small price to pay.

Apparently those high walls and steel security gates that rich folk install round their homes will protect them from #ClimateChange. Some sort of localised weather effect like a mini foehn effect in reverse.
