How dystopian is this image? Young kids going to school, but before they can get into their classes they need to pass through metal detectors and bag searches.

This is the reality of the right wing obsession with guns in the US. Rather than address the root cause, they force schools & businesses to layer in technology and train kids to accept invasive searches on a daily basis. They all know guns are the cause.

@jamesvandyne At least so far, our kids have not had anything more than the lock down drills (already bad enough). I am shocked that the schools I see from our deployments of gun detection systems in other states have metal detectors at the doors and armed police patrolling the corridors.
