A couple bottles we tried from JSBrewery. The spot brewing Makgeolli (Korean Rice Wine). $30 a 12oz bottle, but really good.

Left pic is the Sun (막걸리) Makgeolli.

Right pic is the Secret Black Rice (흑미주) Makgeolli.

@gnitro Pretty sweet. Do they do flights? Or just by the bottle?

@steven Currently the don't have a license to serve. So it's only small tastings. Then you can buy a bottle to enjoy in house.

@Mutedog Probably my favorite of the 3 I tried. Super tasty. They had another clear Makgeolli that was really good too.

@gnitro that's awesome. Were they getting a lot of business? $30 for a 12oz bottle seems pretty steep

@Mutedog Yeah, a lot of their early batches sold out. And it is steep but they don't use any preservatives or artificial flavors.

It's not a drink I'd buy often anyway, but I can see myself picking up a bottle or 2 every few months.

I ended up buying 2 bottles, and my friend did as well. I have no complaints on what I paid for it.
