With this mindset, reading a book, getting ideas and information to think about and being able to reflect on yourself and your emotions, a book can indeed make you gay.

Either they are lying, because they never read such a book, or... they all are gay now.
LevkaDisabled elder here. The troubles that come from gun culture are *far* outweighed by the benefits. Guns make us equal. Without guns, the old, the weak, the small and the disabled are at the mercy of the the young, the strong, the big and the able-bodied.
I made no commentary referencing the banning of guns. I merely believe safety is a modern imperative.
My great grandmother’s 12-gauge is locked in a home safe, actually. And I can competently use it, Dad was a sniper in the Navy.
But high-powered guns DO kill far, far too many innocents in this country.
