I've been watching the Final Destination movies on HBO Max-Max-HBO Max and can't believe no one has made a (good) video game for this series. Playing as death trying to kill as many annoying teenagers as possible sounds like a lot of fun.
@paul Have you looked into Until Dawn (2015, PS4, Steam) at all? It's an imperfect cinematic horror game, but it revels in letting you control a bunch of annoying teenagers playing into or against type in a branching slasher story. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmkTRAvMYmM

@paul I’d be so in if a Final Destination game played basically the same as The Incredible Machine.
@paul I could imagine @grumpygamer doing something absolutely fantastic with that pitch (but licensing might be a hassle)
@paul Never played it myself, but I think the Deception game series on PlayStation was all about leading individuals into their demise using Rube-Goldberg traps.
@paul There is. Called Death Coming
@paul Sounds kind of like Dead by Daylight, but I could imagine a game where you are Death setting up your elaborate Rube Goldberg machine, hit play, and watch the result. Kind of like Lemmings, but you’re trying to kill them instead of save them.
