Another morning of hot-weather landscaping. I'm breaking concrete pavers into flagstones.
I smack them with a hammer aiming for specific shapes…

@ottaross If you have a chisel, you can chisel a line along where you want the paver to break before hitting it with a hammer. This will increase the odds of getting what you want. Works a treat with natural stone, not sure about concrete pavers.
(My mom had a stone masonry hobby)
@jvschrag oh yes, got lots of masonry chisels, but playing geography roulette seems like more fun somehow. 🤣
If I get fussy I'll probably use a masonry blade on the grinder and score them first.
