If your story were an animal, which one? What would you feed it?

Does Cthulhu count? If not I take the Reapers from Mass Effect.

In the first case human souls including my own in the later human bodies to create a new Reaper.

Or a Goat, they eat souls too but they are so freaking adorable.

SC POV: If you could master one skill you don't have, what would it be?

Mondira:"You know I'm not bad with Xeno topics like history and hopefully after the mission I have enough material for my dissertation but what I really fear of all this topics Xeno Anthropology. I am good at it but ... Not really good you know? This bit is missing that people say 'damn she is good'. That is missing..."

Silas:"I'm not so good with socials, especially not since Anika went MIA, I have a hart time connecting with my daughter because she doesn't understand why I work in this field. She understands that soldiers are needed but she thinks I should care more for my family. I left active duty as I became pregnant with her & stood by her side til she married with 22.
Than I went back to duty. I hope after this mission I can learn o speak differently with her... "

Does your world have ships, either ocean, space or whatever? What kind?

All kind of worlds have all kind of ships.
Including liquid faring ones, space faring, land faring and atmosphere faring ones. Also submergable ones. Not only in liquids but also in space because that's how FTL works in Star Ryde.

Kira raised an eyebrow:"Constantly. That's part or the Job also my parents and siblings we where spacers, still I am."

Arkham pointed at Kira:"She already made the point."

Ashlei:"I am the artificial intelligence of a spacecraft, I am the spaceship I am on a constant voyage."

What emotions do you expect your readers to feel while reading the first chapter of your story?

Maybe something like this: "Oh? Really? Okay... I buy it, for now! Let's see how this evolves, yeah I can see it now, what no? No! Moly hother go frog... NEXT NOW! Please? Pretty please? You can't keep me hanging like this, oh sweet sins their is the next chapter. Hu!"

I know wishful thinking. But would that be an awesome emotional trip?😅
In reality at least enough interest to proceed with chapter two.

That they feel taken seriously, appreciated and hopefully entertained and inspired.

Mondira Ramann: "Endorian Chocolate, the Endorian Republic or Endoria is one of the states back home on Eodin. They have this incredibly tasty dried Chocol fish skin flakes that are covered in the Chocol fat. They aren't real fish like you would see on Ear... sorry Terra.
They have a lot in common with snakes, they share their skin every 3 Months so basically every 87 days.
It's ment to be food and shelter for their eggs and hatchlings but Chocols have an incredible reproductive rate & since we accidentally killed off their natural predator... so as an act of keeping the balance, the Endorians collect hatcheries, clean them and sell them on the market.
The Chocolate is covered with the hard oil or more accurate fat the fish uses to shedd it.➡️
