@catsalad I don't think that's "overheated and pulled off".

That looks like very deliberate and painstaking rework soldering hundreds of individual wires from PCB to chip and tapping a few off to that ribbon cable.

@azonenberg @catsalad yeah, it's a famous photo from a playstation homebrow wiki of someone reverse-engineering the syscon (system controller) on that board (iirc)
