Today I got my batch of #PCB's from #JLCPCB for the front panel LEDs of my #NeXTcube mini.

Turns out: I mistakenly swapped the top and bottom layer. 🤪

@layered Can you still use them? Does biting one’s ass hurt? Will you financially recover from that loss?
@teilweise Well, these all costs just 15 bucks. And yes, I can use them. I just have to flip the wires of my JST connectors.

@layered I know that JLCPCB is dead cheap. Makes it viable for me to have PCBs produced for my projects. ;-)

Changing the wires is annoying but it could have been worse.
(Aren’t these PCBs symmetrical? Can’t you just turn them around?)

@teilweise Yes, I can turn them around. But then I have to turn the LEDs for 180 degrees, too. 😉
@layered Oof. Been there. Hopefully they can be bodged without a noticeable difference.
@layered that's why I (try to remember to) print the PCBs out and place the parts I have... also to see if it fits in the case.
@chbeer THAT is a very good idea! You could have told me that earlier. 😃
@chbeer And now imagine the mess with my first 4 layer board. 😂
@layered 🫣 I am very not eager to do 4 layers 😆
