After way too long, I finally upload the video where I talk about my VHSes and a Commercial for the game The Movies I thought was lost to time.

I also wanted to make a little thread about this commercial because the video changed its purpose as I made it 🧵:

First thing I wanted to highlight the main reason I made the video in the first place. I was under the impression that this commercial was lost media. Whenever I would look for The Movies Commercial/TV Spot I couldn't find it on Youtube or internet archive. I thought no one else uploaded.

EXCEPT while I was making this video there was not one but TWO People uploaded the commercial before with in the last 3 years. One in 2022:

And another one that was literally posted while I was in the middle of making this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf3P8uEixsg

The Movies PC Game Commercial (2005)

YouTube

So that changed the video from one of "lost media" to "highlighting this thing that I like" Which is why I decided to finish the video even though the original concept was flawed. I think its still neat.

I just find it funny that this commercial is really just me and two other people posting this.

I also mentioned having a footage of all my video tapes in drawers having 100-200+ tapes easily. I still do not know where that footage is but I hope I can find it soon. It might be on one of my hard drives.

Would be a shame to lose that footage, & I'd want if I was to go through all the tapes.

Also as promised I'm uploaded the full commercial here too! Because why not. The 2005 Commercial for The Movies The Game (recorded on an old vhs tape taken from the Comedy Network, Canada)
