@markwyner @drahardja a few years ago my wife and I got to see a Late Show recording (Steven Colbert was excellent) and it was just after Jon Batiste had won album of the year at the Grammy’s so instead of just performing Colbert interviewed him as a guest. And it was clear both how immensely talented he is and how deep their friendship is. Really great experience to be there in the audience.

@markwyner @drahardja if they aren’t friends they are both incredible actors. It was a really cool experience. Even got to go on stage as my wife and I were called up by the opening act (comedian who asked couples questions as part of his act). Not filmed just part of warming up the audience. But it was indeed pretty awesome even in that context to get to walk on the set just for a few minutes.
