@keyboards "Press ANY key, it said" ... ;-)
@andreas_heitmann @keyboards Yet, even with this many keys, there still isn't a single any key.

@keyboards And this is a huge improvement over many of what came before. I can't seem to find it just atm, but there was this huge keyboard that pretty much was a whole desk into itself in really early systems (I think 70s? Maybe even 60s?)

But nothing matches the horror of this:

@keyboards
— Mom, I want an Hyper7 keyboard!
— We already have an Hyper7 keyboard at home.

The Hyper7 keyboard at home:

@keyboards a keyboard that has a strong 8-string guitar vibe
@keyboards Hmm. I wonder how many Chinese language Emacs users there are?
@keyboards Never seen anything like this. Is this AI?
@keyboards this is giving me anxiety
@keyboards the fuck is this monstrosity

@keyboards For those who don’t read Chinese, this is a specialized keyboard for railway ticketing in Taiwan, I think meant to be operated by a trained agent. Most of the keys in the lower left cluster are just individual train stations, and there are keys for “business class”, “return ticket”, “student discount”, “window seat”, and so on.

This is not meant to enter general text.

@keyboards now THAT is a keyboard....

@keyboards

Right, that's what I want. With swappable keyswitches and QMK, please.
