How many parked (unused) domains do you own? I have an idea and want to know if my assumption is correct.
Boost generously, please.

Follow up question (for those who answer > 5) have you, or are you, done anything towards actually using any one them?
Nope, thjey believe that the domains are an investment and that they will be able to sell them.
I can't say too much more, I don't want to call them out online, but I believe they truly believe in their vision, and they are absolutely 'too far in to give up now'.
100% a form of addiction.
If you asked a month ago, my answer would be 2 but it's 0 now
has a downward usage arc in my case; earlier tons -- then dwindling maintenance...
@box464 ~5 , i've finally convinced myself that there is no shortage of TLD's anymore and even if someone for some reason decides to get the one I wanted for that one project i'll come up with ten others.
But there are still some that are no longer used and so I need to hold on to them forever, just in case.
I have spent the last year getting rid of them all!
Seriously - I did it! 🥳
Why? I am getting old and my dreams are dashed against the rocky shores of life, broken and abandoned, I just don't have the energy to try any more!
Also, the internet is fucked!
@box464
Ok thanks.
Now I know ‘I have a problem’
@box464 Got back from owning domains to just borrowing subdomains.
It's as easy if not easier, and for now I can't say I was let down yet.
So fuck for-pay domains in general, we ought to do without.
@otyugh Renting sub-domains? I’ve never heard of that before…who sells the rentals, individual domain owners?
Oh…I guess that is what omg.lol does?
I thought about poaching commercial domains in the early 90s, but I understand the way the world works too well.
They just changed the rules so that a little person isn't allowed to "own", say, pepsi.com. Pepsi can simply take it from you.
Otherwise, I've never seen the point.
@box464 I think I have an actual problem... LOL ..
My staff: "Why are we naming our new service that??"
Me: "because I had this cool domain name laying around"
wtf are “none” people doing on the nerd social media protocol?
@box464 Some advice for the over-domained.
