Huh, I never noticed how I can observe chromatic aberration looking at my phone screen up close at an angle. Most noticeable with white on a black background. I guess for mostly the same reason it happens in cameras, but with the screen glass.
@chamomile Huh. I always though that was just my eyes being weird
@SobbV0hoX It's not just you! However... the really weird part is that I can't replicate it now. It was very obvious and consistent the other night, and now I just don't observe the effect despite doing the same thing. I have no idea what was different then.
@chamomile I suspect it's subpixel antialiasing. It uses the RGB subpixels to make the lines smoother at the cost of this tiny color glitch
