does anyone know of a place which breaks down all sorts of lace-making techniques?? lace types, different traditions etc. or your favorite teaching resource on any type of lace you like? much obliged!

@o1vr I do not know about laces specifically but have you tried the internet archive?
@o1vr The designer Rosemary (Romi) Hill has very useful YouTube videos about lace techniques, but you may want more of an academic overview? I think Vogue Knitting has some books.

The museum web site probably has some good resources about lace in general and probably some good learning materials in the links and you can buy books and materials from the store.

Lacis Museum of Lace & Textiles

Established in 2004, Lacis Museum of Lace & Textiles is a legacy museum honoring textile artist and entrepreneur KAETHE KLIOT (1930-2002).
