For the record I was typing...
"Should I take metformin with my largest meal?"
Mine neither. I just checked and gynecomastia is not listed as a side effect. ๐
I see the connection.
You won't need dish sponges if you order street tacos.
Problem solved.

Enshittification, a term by Cory Doctorow, describes the process where online platforms initially offer a good user experience to attract users, then degrade that experience by prioritizing profits and catering to business customers, and finally degrade the experience for both users and business customers to maximize shareholder value.
@overholt Watermelon Pico de Gallo? NO. Watermelon with a little Tajin on it as a side, sure, but watermelon does not go on tacos.
And why ruin a perfectly good steak by adding zucchini? All a properly cooked steak needs is kosher salt and a little freshly ground pepper. Maybe a reduction of red wine used to deglaze, with a little garlic, sauteed shallot, and butter, if you want to get really fancy.
It's so weird. My wife has said this forever and I have to agree. Most tech and software just keeps getting worse, for the last 10-15 years.
@overholt while I'm always up for โhow foolish proprietary systems annoyโ โฆ my bigger concern about grocery websites is how chains make it harder to use coupons by forcing you into complex apps or websites. Those on fixed income budgets absolutely need these discounts for food security.
I'm not poor myself these days but grew up poor so grocery discount chasing is a life habit. I'm flabbergasted at how what was once a simple paper clipping process became a technological, privacy-less maze.
