"NUS paper was among 17 #research papers fr a # of countries found by #NikkeiAsia to contain te #hiddenprompt. Te report, pub'ed July 1, said te papers were linked to 14 universities, incl'g #Waseda, #KAIST, #PekingU, & U of #Washington & #Columbia. Most of te papers w te prompt were fr #computerscience field.. te misuse of AI tools by #academics is #unethical & unfair.. there cld be gaps in te research tt weren't addressed as a result of #AI #manipulation"
🧐Furthermore, the use of #AI to perform #academic #peerreviews is not only lazy, it's fundamentally #irresponsible and #unethical to the development of #scientific #research. Like errant or #corrupt priests and cardinals that needed to be ferreted out by the Church, this disturbing trend in #global #academicresearch, seemingly involving top-tier #universities, sorely needs to be nipped in the bud before it rots and festers the entire #credibility of new #science - to the detriment of #mankind.🤔
