think i might put a thing on my website where if it's after 5 PM or on the weekend, it's like. "sorry the website is closed". but theres a link. 'peer in through the window'. and you click it and you can browse the site kinda. but its very dark because the lights are switched off etc
@jk if you click certain links the "security system" is triggered, siren, red tint, metal shutters descend, trapping the mouse pointer in a small area.

@jk While peering in through the window, all `input` elements are disabled.

Some links fail to work, instead triggering a toast that says "this page cannot be seen from the window".

@Misofist @jk

careful you'll invent a new fetish

@gloriouscow Wouldn't be the first time I've done that...
@jk reminds me of the old flashlight screensaver thing in a way

@jk You nut.

Keep up the good work eh?

@jk 5 PM local time for you, or according to the browser? It would be sad if I only found American/Asian websites closed for the day since I'm on European time!
@hs @jk Ditto, but Japanese time. Wasn't the nice thing about the internet is that, at its best, it was accessible to people?
@jk This website is under construction. Hard hats and safety shoes are mandatory. Visitors must check in with the foreperson. [links to WHMIS safety data sheets]
@jk Wait I love this

@jk

Quite easy to implement with a tiny JavaScript and css.
