So my position at my current employer is being eliminated August 1st; I've known for about a month, and I've been spraying application out with little success. I'm getting quite anxious about it, but I've reached out to a few old contacts (and some newer ones) and I'm hopeful that I'll find something before my severance runs out; it could definitely be a lot worse.

But this isn't a post about finding a job, it's a post announcing a new game I'm making! I've been a hobbyist #GameDev for decades and I've decided to try and make something worth finishing!

I'm calling it #RulerOfRoguemount and it's a cozy village building game set at the base of the titular mountain. It's still early days, but check out this screenshot of the villagers going about their business!
