Constantly fighting off deep depression is exhausting. I don’t know how people do it.
@gedeonm No idea either. Let me know if you find out. Hang in there.

@gedeonm I’m right there with you. In the past weeks I’ve finally forced myself to take time off away from things and force myself to do things I enjoy. Why would somebody need to force themselves to do something they enjoy? Well…if you know, you know.

And it truly works. If you can just take that first step.

@gedeonm yoga and therapy saved my life. One taught me how to breathe, the other taught me new ways to think. Both are inextricably linked.

@gedeonm It’s a hard road, for sure.

A mix of close family, trusted friends, medication, therapy, and - for me - faith in the Almighty. Hang in there, friend.

@gedeonm Universal: need of Deep Rest.

What is most effective HIGHLY depends on the reasons behind it. Understanding is the key.

Throw everything at it – it may be very individual what helps.

Drag yourself, even if there is zero energy.

Most IMPORTANT is to know, to believe, to convince yourself, to remind yourself in all possible ways of the existence of the surface when you are deep under the dark water.

💚

@gedeonm drugs and voodoo dolls.
@gedeonm Major depression and anxiety and let’s not forget ADHD. Basically every day is a constant battle against my brain and even moving is difficult. ADHD stimulants is the only thing that helps get me out of bed.
@kdbdallas Hugs, the struggle is real and shared by many.
