A New Yorker Cartoon

“Philip K. Dick. Ray Bradbury. Like so many others in tech, I draw inspiration from completely misunderstanding those authors.”

The New Yorker
@nev Thanks!!! Will add credit.
@ai6yr (I just googled the text, it was the first result. The caption in italic Caslon is also unique to the New Yorker.)
@nev It did look like a New Yorker cartoon in style...

@ai6yr But what else can you do with Philip K Dick and Ray Bradbury other than misunderstand them?

They're both too weird to ever have made much sense to me.

@TimWardCam @ai6yr It seems to me a lot of people willfully misunderstood A Sound of Thunder.
@ai6yr For the record, the artist is Ellis J. Rosen. I don't know the specific source for this particular cartoon, but he has a syndicated single-panel strip called "Junk Drawer" and has many others published in The New Yorker.
