now that we've reached the hottest part of the day (it is 35 c / 95 f in Amsterdam around dinnertime), I've hosed Odin down with cold water. He immediately cheered right up and started prancing around the house.

@igimenezblb I meant the whole 4 to 6 pm block of time, which is the hottest today (as opposed to 1 to 3, which is what I would have expected). Personally my meal times are shifted an hour or two earlier than most other people.
