which is why kids need to learn about the possibilities and limitations of genAI in school. Like we taught them to be critical of what they found on Wikipedia 20 years ago, how to search properly, and to check other sources if something seemed off etc.

@cmyrland I believe Wikipedia is very different. You know it is mostly correct most of the time, because it is constantly maintained. Stay in the middle of the road, check sources from time to time, especially if you find something surprising.
Problem is, you can’t really check sources for AI, nor if there are other disagreeing sources. And you can’t see how many authors worked on it, the whole process how the information was processed is opaque.
You just hope it’s correct.
