@ghibli I could instantly tell this is from Only Yesterday. It’s my favorite Takahata film and my love for it has only grown as I’m approaching my 40s.

@ghibli Only Yesterday is an odd duck for me in the Ghibli catalogue - depending on my mood (for want of a better word, it’s more complicated than that) it can either enthrall me or literally put me to sleep. I don’t know why that is.
