Although they are considered a less lethal alternative to metal projectiles, rubber bullets can still cause fatal injuries as well as other serious injuries such as blindness or other permanent disabilities.

Video of police in LA shooting women point blank with no protesters any where near the incident.

REPEAT: police or ICE in LA are on an offensive assault mission, not civil community policing.

No law enforcement training justifies such behavior in the context.

That's the slow autopiloting walk of a person who is VERY TIRED and just wants to go home. She doesn't even know she should be afraid-- and THAT is why they fucking shot her. If you're not cringing, they take it as disrespect.

She just keeps drifting towards them because her feet are trying to take her home and this isn't supposed to have anything to do with her so why are they in the way, what even-- BAM.

She doesn't even run, just turns and shuffles away not much differently than how she was walking before. It's not until the cameraperson gets close enough to hear her crying that we get a sense of her distress. It's too bad she didn't get a shot of the injury, though I can certainly understand just putting the phone the hell down.

And now the fear will be in her body, when she smells the smells and hears the noises of those guns and sees them. Just like thousands of other people experiencing these traumas.

And nothing significant will be done by the police departments or courts to punish them or stop it. These are the same cops that train and work alongside soldiers who've been sniping little children for kicks in Gaza.

This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal.
