If one president thinks this is necessary then he is obviously the problem, not the people.
@scottmstedman
How are they arresting ANYONE in LA?
Insurrection is a pardonable offense. There is precedent. Ask Enrique Tario.
@arrrg @scottmstedman I can see what you mean about the ratio, but the focus should be on actions being terrible, rather than who they’re done to. It doesn’t save anyone there to add victims anywhere else.
I’m sure you know this and I wouldn’t even speak to it, except there is a thread of thought rn among mostly young folks that if “we” (really, the more-vulnerable closer to home) just suffer enough from our own rulers, we’ll finally be moved to stop them, and it smells like accelerationism.
Taken without context, I feel US troops being in US territories and not bombing civilians in middle east, would constitute as a good thing.
Peacekeeping should be done by UN, not by a single country.
@scottmstedman yeah, isn’t it interesting to have your soldiers on your soil instead of invading some peoples homes!
You’re saying this as though it is something shocking, shows how you normalize and care little about imperialist activities of the US! Now you know how it feels to have US troops in your streets
