ForstOut of curiosity, had a look at the carrier bundles on #iPhone with regards to #EVS audio codec support:
* iPhone 8 and newer support the EVS codec (narrowband and wideband).
* iPhone 11 and newer also support EVS super-wideband.
* All carrier profiles with EVS use 16 kHz sampling rate, even for SWB.
* Bitrate ranges depend on individual carriers, but never exceed 24.4 kbps.
Above is accurate for #iOS 18.5.
