Most people don't know this but Winnie the Pooh was actually the name of the doctor
@TheBreadmonkey β€œMr. The Pooh is my father!”
@maxleibman @TheBreadmonkey but is there any evidence that Winnie is male? Maybe Winnifred the Pooh? Excuse me, Dr Winnifred the Pooh, hailing from the Hundred Acre Woods.

@MamaLake @maxleibman @TheBreadmonkey

This is canonically addressed in the books, and IIRC Winnie has a linguistically unusual male definite article "ther" as the "the" in his name. Winnie the Pooh is quite likely a trans guy, if we can apply that terminology to a culture so far in the past.

@TheBreadmonkey gastroenterologist no doubt
@TheBreadmonkey
Proctologist?? πŸ€”
@TheBreadmonkey I don't think I've gotten to that regeneration yet
@TheBreadmonkey Winnie-The-Pooh was a doctor in a deep fugue state living in a small woods for years

@TheBreadmonkey

Old jokes home:

Q: What do Winnie the Pooh and Alexander the Great have in common?

A: They have the same middle name.

@TheBreadmonkey

No, you are thinking of the world famous BBC series Doctor Pooh.
