I've made my submission against the #RegulatoryStandardsBill - it was easy to do. I hope many thousands of others will do likewise. Here is an excellent tutorial on how to proceed:

It will only take as long as is required to vent your spleen and invent some colourful invective against this absolute rubbish piece of proposed legislation.

We can't let the Atlas Network set NZ policy. It only takes ten minutes to make a submission on the Regulatory Standards Bill and there are only two boxes to fill in. 1. Under 'comments' make sure you state clearly that "I oppose the Regulatory Standards bill." You might mention the extraordinary amount of power the bill would give to one Minister (who has serious connections to the Atlas Network). And your thoughts on taxpayers being expected to compensate extractive corporates for loss of profits, when those companies are operating sunset industries and destroying our environment. 2. Under 'recommendations' again reinforce that the Bill and its proposed updates should be rejected. You might also want to add a line opposing a money-wasting referendum. That's it. Go for it! Submissions close 1.00pm, Monday, 23 June 2025. https://www.parliament.nz/en/pb/sc/make-a-submission/document/54SCFIN_SCF_E22299B3-B67B-4F74-023D-08DD9688D2C5/regulatory-standards-bill @pezmico #RegulatoryStandardsBill

@ambientspace Nice one Chris!
I'm stoked to see the submissions gaining traction.
@WainuiTrailerTrash this bit of nastiness should never have even got this far.
@ambientspace I’m still working on mine, but much thanks to Mr Seymour, I wrote a specific, clear piece back in January on this already. So in spite of my woolly brain at the moment, I still have my answers to his questions from then, & I’m just putting them together in a way that makes sense. Again. But my thanks to mr Seymour stops there, bc he’s a Cunty McCuntface.
@heyrochelle I agree 100% with your assessments.
