Question for members of climatejustice.social and climatejustice.global.

Would you be interested in a place for us to discuss topics concerning the two sibling servers internally?
I'm thinking of starting a #Discourse forum where we could:
* do community building
* brainstorm ideas for the instances and the Fediverse
* talk about our principles, rules, guidelines and moderation
* ask questions and help each other
* do whatever else we come up with

 https://discourse.org/ is a free libre forum software that is working on ActivityPub compatibility, meaning it is/will be part of the Fediverse, able to federate topics and categories with other Discourse forums, #lemmy and possibly Mastodon and lots of other parts of the Fediverse.
For now you'd have to create an account on the forum to participate in discussions though.

I think it would be good for us, if more people were more involved in decisions and discussions about the instances as well as in community building and socializing.

What do you think?

@PaulaToThePeople

Climate justice and social justice go hand in hand, and many of us on the front lines,including displaced LGBTQ+ people,have unique perspectives that deserve to be heard. I would be grateful for a platform where we can take part in shaping discussions that affect our lives and our future.

@rodgersk I absolutely agree that social and climate justice go hand in hand.
But tbh this is not meant to be a platform.
Parts of the forum would be public and possible federate with large parts of the Fediverse in the future, but the primary reason for creating the forum would be internal discussions for members of climatejustice.social and climatejustice.global.
Which doesn't mean that people from other parts of the Fediverse are not welcome to the public parts of the forum.

Discussions about social justice are definitely welcome on the forum too, but as a platform (in the sense of speaking to the public) Mastodon is much better suited.
