The inability to use #AI ought to be as disqualifying as failure to use Google scholar or use the library paper database.
Basic computer literacy is a must In the #Science community!
I see so many allegedly eduhcated folk unable to construct even the most basic prompt 🤪

One should not need to do "prompt engineering" to get useful information from an AI if it actually was fit for purpose.
The pitch is "give it data, ask a question, get answer based on the data" not "give it data, ask a question, get fiction inspired by the data"
Prompt engineering is a field that should not exist if AI actually works in this context.
Google Foo > Google.
One needs to know how to use the simplest tool.
Just because a hammer is "Easy to use" will not prevent sore thumbs if you do not practice with the tool.
AI is not a magic genie, it's more of a monkey paw. Do not fall for the #broligarch propaganda. You need to know how to use AI effectively...just as you need to learn how to use...anything.
