Happy International Day of the Potato!
@Robo105 @markarayner Not to mention that one famine was named after potatoes. Carrot famine doesn't sound the same.
Carrot's Famine or The Famine of 311 D.F. was a famine that affected Aurelius that was largely caused by the King of Wisteria, King Carrot the Crusty. While uncommon, at this time it was still technically legal to employ scryers as members of government and as advisors. King Carrot the Crusty, the King of Wisteria at the time had hired a supposed scryer as his chief advisor, Oryzeae Treetrope. Oryzeae was, in fact, a false scryer who used his predictions to gain political power within Wisteria.
