I recently got one of those laptops, and only once did I accidentally let it finish booting Windows (I missed one of the shortcut keys for the Linux install media). ๐Ÿ˜† But I'm in Sweden and that website did not have clear instructions on whether I could get a refund or not...

@fsfe My newest ASUS-Ryzen laptop came with a No-OS option. I noticed they did not offer the same on Intel units, however.

@fsfe Install Linux and make Microsoft pay you for it. Now, this is what I call a win-win.
@fsfe another reason I also went for framework laptop or bto. Allowing you to select a laptop without any operating system pre installed.
@fsfe So, is the procedure based on Italian law or open to customers in the entire EU?
I haven't fully researched this but it would be helpful to mention prominently.
